The city is a vast structure built into and atop a plateau high in the mountains at the heart of the [[Roshar|Rosharan]] supercontinent, far above the reach of the [[The Highstorm|highstorms]].<br /> <br /> Urithiru is a tower of immense scale, rising in tiers and ringed by ten radial sections corresponding to the ten orders of [[Knights Radiant]]. It is a [[fabrial|fabrial]] of titanic proportions, regulating its own climate and atmosphere despite its great altitude.<br /> <br /> == Description ==<br /> The tower contains thousands of rooms, libraries, and chambers, many decorated with strata of colored stone. At its base lies a network of basements and a great gemstone pillar -- the tower&#039;s heart -- studded with thousands of gemstones that, when properly powered, sustain Urithiru&#039;s protective and life-supporting functions.
