== Character ==
Tyrion is the sharpest mind in the novels, a master of words who turns mockery into armor. Generous and capable of real kindness, he is also driven by resentment and self-loathing born of a lifetime of contempt. The betrayals of his family, and the truth of Tysha, push him from cynical loyalty toward bitterness and patricide.

== Relationships ==
Tyrion's love for his brother [[Jaime Lannister|Jaime]] is the warmest bond of his life, though it is poisoned by Jaime's confession about Tysha.
