The [[Iron Islands]], home of the ironborn, lie within it off the western coast, as do Bear Island and the Arbor, the wine-rich island of [[House Redwyne]]. No reliable account exists of any land on its far side; sailors who have ventured far west have not returned, and the open ocean stretches beyond the edge of every map.<br /> <br /> == The Ironborn ==<br /> The Sunset Sea is the domain of the ironborn, the seafaring raiders of the [[Iron Islands]] who live by reaving its coasts and waters. Their longships range the sea, and their faith in the [[Drowned God]] is bound to it.
