His favorite punishment for those who displease him is to make them "fly" through the Moon Door, a hole in the floor of the high hall that opens onto a sheer drop.<br />

After Lord Jon Arryn's death, his widow Lysa brought the boy back to the Eyrie and kept the Vale neutral during the War of the Five Kings. After Lysa's death, Baelish made himself Robert's protector and Lord of the Vale in all but name, ruling through the fragile boy.<br />
