The lords of Dol Amroth were of high Númenórean blood, with a strain of Elven descent, and held the fair coastal fief of Belfalas in the south-west of Gondor. She married Denethor, son of the Steward Ecthelion II, and bore him two sons: Boromir and Faramir.<br />
