Wyndle is a Cultivationspren and the spren bonded to the young Surgebinder Lift in Brandon Sanderson's The Stormlight Archive. Through their Nahel bond, Lift becomes a Knight Radiant of the order of Edgedancers.
Nature
As a Cultivationspren, Wyndle is associated with growth and the Surges wielded by the Edgedancers. In the Physical Realm he manifests as a trail of moving vines and crystal, leaving a creeping growth wherever he goes, and he can take the form of various objects, including the Shardblade Lift uses. He is fussy, anxious, and given to complaint, often lamenting the dangers his bond with Lift drags him into and reminiscing about his preferred existence tending crystalline gardens.
Bond with Lift
Wyndle was sent into the Physical Realm to bond a particular candidate, but instead bonded Lift, a street urchin with an unusual relationship to the powers of Roshar. Despite his constant worrying, Wyndle is loyal and caring toward Lift, and the two share an affectionate, bickering relationship. As an Edgedancer pair, they wield the Surges of Abrasion and Progression, granting Lift frictionless movement and the ability to heal and regrow living things.
